Dr. Elyse Landwehr

Dr. Elyse Landwehr grew up in Brighton, Colorado, watching her father work as a small animal veterinarian. She fell in love with the animals and the work, and went to CSU to pursue her education. She earned her bachelors and masters degrees in Biomedical Sciences and went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in the spring of 2015. Throughout her education she continued to volunteer at Horizon Vet, gaining valuable experience and knowledge. 

Dr. Landwehr loves cardiology and rehabilitation and enjoys performing surgeries. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing games with friends, and working on small construction projects with her family. She has two dogs, a greyhound named Leo and a pit bull mix named Finnigan, and two cats Smaug and Hairy Potter.
